Forest Picture
HD Video, 3 mins 16 secs, Sound, 2018, China.
Forest Picture records and restores some of the life scenes around me and memories of the environment I grew up in, with tranquility and fantasy running through it. The film was shot in Hunan and Beijing in the summer of 2018.
“Calm and strange is this evening hour in the forest, carven domes of green are the trees by the pathway. Hark! a voice and laughter-the living and loving, down these fantastic avenues pass like shadows.” – Forest Picture, Dylan Thomas (1928)
